The QREC Parliamentary Friends of Renewables event, co-chaired by Adam Baillie MP and Lance McCallum MP, brought together more than 170 leaders from across government, industry and the community. Among them were 27 Members of Parliament from across the political spectrum – a strong demonstration of bipartisan commitment to Queensland’s energy future.
The evening also marked the launch of the Queensland Renewables Growth and Investment Strategy – a 15-point framework to accelerate investment, create regional opportunities and position Queensland at the forefront of the energy transition, shaping discussions ahead of the forthcoming Queensland Energy Roadmap.
