The QREC Parliamentary Friends of Renewables event, co‑hosted by Adam Baillie MP and Lance McCallum MP, brought together industry and government representatives from across the political spectrum for open and practical discussion on Queensland’s renewable energy transition. With more than 140 attendees and around 20 Members of Parliament in the room, the strong turnout reflected shared interest in constructive, bipartisan engagement on Queensland’s energy future.
The participation of The Hon. David Janetzki MP, Treasurer, as guest speaker highlighted the importance of senior government engagement on energy and investment issues, and the value of direct dialogue between industry and policymakers.
